Plus, there's the fact that some of the translations I downloaded are patches, and I have no idea what I need to do differently for those. Now for the stupid noob question how do I run them? To that end, I have downloaded numerous translations of previously untranslated games and a few ROMhacks based on some of my favorite games. So, while I do have a few ROMhacks in the planning stage, my primary reason for being here is as a gamer who loves to play.
Plus, the information may be useful to others who are new to the world of ROMs, ROMhacks, and fan translations, so I decided to go ahead and post my question anyway.
